This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10

This is no funereal doom filled with songs of anguish. It is doom rooted in hard rock, with gargantuan riffs and soaring, ballsy vocals. There are moments of pure Dio-ness here that raise it above much of the doom genre. The art work, band name, and album title make it seem like it will be a wrist-slitting affair, but instead it is elevating.
